This is not "Tilt Shift." I wish I had focused on the cans instead of the figures on purpose because I love the effect.

Guess who's coming to dinner while dad's deployed?

(CNN) -- One day before the unofficial "Star Wars" holiday in May, an R2-D2 replica wheeled through the front door of the Smiley family home in Bangor, Maine, to the delight of the three young "Star Wars" fans in the house.

"May the fourth be with you!" exclaimed 5-year-old Lindell Smiley, decked out in full Luke Skywalker gear. In a house filled with excited shouts, it wasn't apparent that a very important person was missing from the packed dinner table. But R2-D2 had a special surprise. The robot projected a video of deployed Navy pilot Dustin Smiley, father to Ford, Owen, and Lindell. His sons were shocked into momentary silence as they watched. In the video, Dustin Smiley told his family that he loved them and implored his boys to congratulate their mother on her graduation from a master's program at the University of Maine.

Welcome to "Dinner with the Smileys." Sarah Smiley is a Navy wife, syndicated columnist and author. She has already made it through two of her husband's deployments, first in 2001 and again in 2003. His current 13-month stint overseas, which began in November, is his longest yet.

How Spam Meat Has Survived Spam E-Mail

Chat rooms. The word was chosen because of the famous Monty Python sketch in which every item on a restaurant’s menu includes Spam, Hormel’s canned, spiced lunchmeat. The skit was a back-handed compliment, a tribute to Spam’s success at monopolizing the British diet.

By the late ’90s, spam had migrated from Internet chat rooms to in-boxes as a term of art for junk e-mail, becoming synonymous with erectile dysfunction ads and entreaties from fake Nigerian princes, and presenting Hormel with the greatest marketing challenge in its 75-year history. “We had something negative that was trading on our brand equity, on our name,” says Dan Goldman, Hormel’s grocery products manager. “You have to protect what’s yours.”

disastrous response to the ice storm of 2007), or collateral damage from behavior out of their control (Tiger Woods, Brand Ambassador). There is no playbook or case study, however, for what to do when your flagship product takes on a negative meaning

Review - Star Wars Kinect Now there's a third one – Star Wars Kinect. I think it was the look of disgust on our kitten's face - she had taken refuge under the coffee table - as I leaped, swung and pirouetted around the place that brought me to my senses a little.

    FAQ: Star Wars Tables

Do you RPG (D&D, Star Wars D20...)? Table Top that is. If so, what games are your favorite and why?

No I mean table top RPG games with dice and paper... Often called Pen and Paper
I agree, D&D and other RPG's have a great ability to let one go of his imagination and immerse yourself into another world ...

D&D...love to play...even at 40....have my first edition books...

    all my kids play...

    its a game, its imagination,,,...and it opens your mind to every action has a consequence{like real life}

ah, okay D&D comes high on my list because of the awesome details the game has. But i need to find some players in my area. If any one needs any good online games Im happy to reccomend

Can The Star Wars EAW: Forces of Corruption expansion play online with the original EAW?

I have the gold one with the expansion, and all my friends have the original plain old EAW. I played the expansion and its so much better and brings more to the table. Anyone know if i can play them online while I'm on the expansion if they don't have

If you're using the expansion and they're not then you can't play them online I'm afraid, you both need to be playing the exact same game.

How do I go about donating a Star War's Fuze ball table to a community center or something?

I have a Star Wars fuze ball that I was trying to sell to get it out of the way but don't have the time to get it done and would like to donate it to like a community center where kid's can get some use out of it and have fun.

Call your local YMCA or community center. I'm sure they always accept donations. If that doesn't work you could always call the local churches. They usually have after school programs, and children would love that kind of thing. I hope this helps.
