The Agoura Hills Recreation Center is offering a variety of camps this summer for children ages 5 to 18, including the LEGO camps such as LEGO Engineering, Sports Bots, Pre-Engineering and new Jedi Engineering.

New this summer is the Lego Animation camp, where kids can create their own LEGO movie using stop-motion animation.

Children can build robots, vehicles and battlebots in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Robotics camp.

The city also offers basic video game design, cartooning, drawing and painting, musical theater, Kids on Camera and Claymation.

The summer camps for teens including fencing, Make Your Own Horror Movie Camp and Teen CSI Camp.

The Agoura Hills Department of Community Services recently announced that the 2012 summer recreation brochure is online and will be mailed out next week.

Make sure to share with all your Avengers Lego Trailer and really liked it, but I always wondered if I could have been a bit more colorful and without as much computer graphics. So when I logged onto amazon one fine afternoon the Lego Marvel sets were on my recommended list, since I purchase graphic novels I guess. They looked so good the impulse to buy them was too strong for me to resist. I purchased just the amount I would need to assemble the full Avengers cast with the idea in the back of my mind that I would make trailer but not actually intending on doing it. Then I received the Legos and told my wife of my little dream of making a lego trailer. Being the supportive type she told me I definitely should do it. So we went to the Lego store to see what the possibilities were. My brother, who’s an artist, also tagged along and encouraged me to take it all the way.
