How do I give a major makeover?

I have a friend who is very sweet and optimistic. The problem is that she isn't really self confident like my other friends are. I wanna give her a makeover, but there is so much to do!

She has:
*very curly red hair
*braces

Hahahah wow, it totally sounds like those cheesy girly movies....

For her hair, just give her easy tips to style it so she can start simple but still look good. i.e. pony tail w/ bangs, half pony tail, claw clip all of it or the upper half
